Standard Clean Checklist
- Dust all surfaces, including furniture and shelves.
- Wipe down all reachable surfaces, such as countertops, tables, and cabinets.
- Clean and disinfect countertops, backsplashes, and sinks.
- Wipe down cabinet exteriors and handles.
- Clean interior of microwave and exterior of permanent appliances, including stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator.
- Empty and clean trash cans.
- Scrub and disinfect shower/tub, tiles, and grout.
- Clean and sanitize toilet, including seat, lid, and base.
- Wipe down bathroom vanity, sink, and faucet.
- Clean mirrors and polish fixtures.
- Dust and wipe down all furniture, including nightstands and dressers.
- Dust and polish all surfaces, including coffee tables and entertainment centers.
- Remove clutter and organize items as necessary.
- Make beds.
- Straighten up cushions and pillows.
- Clean interior windows and window sills.
- Vacuum stairs and clean railings.
- Vacuum or sweep under the bed and in corners.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs, paying attention to corners and edges.
- Sweep or vacuum and mop hard floors, ensuring thorough coverage.
- Inspect the home for any overlooked areas and touch up as needed.
- Dispose of any trash or cleaning waste properly.
- Ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked before leaving.
